vPay Details

The vPay Details page provides an in-depth view of a specific vPay request, allowing users to review, process, and manage journal entries associated with the payment request.

Overview

Users with the necessary permissions can take various actions within the vPay Details page:

  • Users with vPay Process permission can finalize and process the payment request.
  • Users with vPay Edit permission can modify details before finalizing the request.
  • Users with vPay Retry permission can attempt to reprocess failed transactions.

This page ensures transparency and control over journal entries by offering a structured view of transaction details.

vPay Request Information

The vPay Request Information section displays key details related to the payment request, including:

  • Request ID: A unique identifier assigned to the vPay request.
  • Status: Indicates the current state of the request (Pending, Processed, Failed, etc.).
  • Total Amount: The total value of journal entries included in the request.
  • Created By: The user who initiated the request.
  • Creation Date: The date and time when the request was created.

This section helps users track the payment request and understand its progress.

Document Rows

The Document Rows section provides a tabbed interface to review and manage the entries within the request. Each tab categorizes entries based on their status:

  1. Included: Displays journal entries that are ready for processing.
  2. Excluded: Lists journal entries that were manually or automatically excluded from processing.
  3. Errored: Shows transactions that encountered errors during processing.
  4. In Work: Contains journal entries that are currently being processed.

Users can review transaction details, identify potential issues, and take corrective actions if necessary.

Actions

Users with the appropriate permissions can perform the following actions:

  • Process vPay Request: Finalizes and executes the payment request.
  • Edit vPay Request: Allows modification of request details before processing.
  • Retry Failed Transactions: Enables reprocessing of journal entries that encountered errors.

These actions ensure that users can efficiently manage vPay transactions while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
