Unit of Measures

Overview

The Unit of Measures (UoM) page provides an interface for creating, editing, and organizing UoMs to ensure consistency across modules, improving accuracy in purchasing, sales, and logistics operations.

Unit of Measures are used in various modules, including Pick and Pack, Purchase and Sales Request, Purchase Order, Request for Proposal, Sales and Purchase Items. Standardizing UoMs ensures accurate conversions, pricing calculations, and inventory tracking.

Unit of Measures List

The UoM table allows for inline management of existing units and provides options to add new ones.

The Load Data button will apply these filters and load the matching journal entries for review and processing.

Columns

• Target Code: Unique identifier for the target unit.
• Target Entry: Entry number assigned to the target unit.
• Base Code: Reference code for the base unit of measure.
• Base Qty: The quantity equivalent in the base unit.
• Item Code: Identifier for the item associated with the unit.
• Item Name: Name of the item linked to the unit.

Actions

• Add Unit of Measure: Create a new UoM entry.
• Edit: Modify existing UoM details directly in the table.
• Delete: Remove a UoM from the system.
