Data Sources
Data sources represent connected external systems or resources from which specific data is retrieved for synchronization and use within the system.
Overview
The Data Sources module provides a comprehensive overview of all available data sources, along with options for adding new sources and reloading the list to ensure updates are reflected.
- Name: Shows the name of the data source.
- Type: Indicates the type of data source.
- Status: Displays the current status of the data source.
- Delete Icon: Allows for the removal of a data source.
Add New Data Source
The Add button opens a popup window where users can create a new Data Source by filling in the required fields:
- Name
- Type (a dropdown with options from the Data Source Types page)
- Proxy (a dropdown with options from the Proxy Agents page)
Once the fields are completed, the details page for the newly created Data Source automatically opens, allowing users to configure and manage it further.
Data Sources Details
Clicking on a specific data source reveals detailed information and configuration options, enabling users to manage their data sources effectively:
- Modify General Information: Change the name, type, proxy type, and status of the data source.
- Manage Data Source Settings: Different data sources come with their own unique settings, that allow for customized configurations based on the specific requirements of the data being utilized.
- Link Companies: Each company can be associated with a specific data source, enabling precise control and assignment of data flows within the organization.
