Permissions

Thumb

Permissions play a crucial role in maintaining secure, organized, and appropriate access to different modules within the system. They define what actions users can perform, ensuring that access is properly controlled.

Only users with Identity Management: Change Permissions privileges can modify permissions.

Permissions Management

The Permissions popup allows administrators to assign and manage permissions at both the user and role levels. It provides granular control over what actions users or groups of users (via roles) can perform in different modules.

Key Features

  • Individual User Permissions: Permissions can be directly assigned to specific users.
  • Role-based Permissions: Permissions can be assigned to roles, allowing all users within that role to inherit the same access rights.
  • Module-specific Permissions: Permissions can be tailored to specific system modules, ensuring users or roles can only interact with the areas they are allowed to access.
